Rajya Sabha Member Kartikeya Sharma shared insights into the recent State-level Review Committee meeting in Haryana, shedding light on the progress and directives concerning nearly 40 ongoing central government schemes in the state. The meeting, presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lal, focused on assessing the challenges encountered in executing these multitude schemes across various departments in Haryana. With an eye on the impending Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister has set forth directives aimed at expediting the completion of these projects before the implementation of the electoral code of conduct.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s emphasis on prompt execution underscores the government’s commitment to fulfilling these initiatives efficiently. Sharma affirmed that the comprehensive review during the meeting showcased that approximately 90% of the work on these schemes has been completed, signifying significant progress.
In a move reflecting the government’s seriousness about accountability and performance, two officials were removed from the meeting.

Sharma highlighted the Chief Minister’s firm stance against non-performing officers, emphasizing that irrespective of their seniority, action will be taken against those failing to discharge their responsibilities.
