Kartikeya Sharma awarded ‘Champion of Change Haryana-2021’ title

Member of Parliament Kartikeya Sharma on Sunday was awarded ‘Champion of Change Haryana-2021’ title for his unmatched contribution to Indian media. At a gala occasion, Governor of Haryana Bandaru Dattatreya conferred the award to the young MP in presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
The Champions of Change event was organised by the Interactive Forum on Economy (IFIE) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel here. The award is given to personalities who have contributed in the fields of Gandhian values, cleanliness, social service, courage, and inclusive social development. It’s an annual award ceremony and this year the award goes to the MP Kartikeya Sharma for the pioneering role in shaping Indian media.
Kartikeya Sharma said, “Change begins at home, and goes from one generation to another. Progress is impossible without change. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also brought many changes with ban on Triple Talaq, abrogation of Article 370, and Swachh Bharat Mission.”
He also added, “Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar has also brought many changes by focusing on good governance, transparency and high-tech education. Today is the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Let me remind you on this occasion that the Chief Minister also fought for the independence of the country and always fought for change in the state.”
Kartikeya Sharma is a young legislator with immense potential and zeal to make a change in the society, especially for his state Haryana.
Since his debut in the Upper House of Indian Parliament, he has been constantly moving around the state reaching out to farmers, youth, women and a cross section of people. His motto is to be with the people and work for the people to improve the quality of their life.
