Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, a notification will be issued on December 12 to conduct elections in the Karanpur assembly constituency. With the notification, the process of submitting nomination papers from RO Karanpur will start. Nomination forms can be filled out till 19th December. Also, there is an order that the nomination papers will be scrutinized on 20th December and 22nd December will be the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers. After this, voting will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, and the counting of votes will begin at 8 am at the district headquarters on January 8, 2024.
