Bollywood stars Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan are set to share the screen once again in an upcoming pan-India psychological thriller. The film, directed by Vijay, commenced production in Chennai, as announced by Kangana on X (formerly Twitter).
Sharing her excitement, Kangana posted a picture from the set, saying, “Today in Chennai, we started filming our new film, a psychological thriller. Other details are coming soon. For now, I need all your support and blessings for this very unusual and exciting script.”
The duo previously collaborated in the hit films Tanu Weds Manu’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns.’ Kangana expressed her enthusiasm for working with Vijay again, stating, “Dear Vijay sir, after the incredible experience of Thalaivii, I am happy to be basking in your glory again. I love to be on your team and follow your commands. Thank you, sir.”
The film’s music will be composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, known for his talent, adding an intriguing layer to the psychological thriller. Nirav Shah, acclaimed for his cinematography, serves as the Director of Photography (DOP), promising a visually stunning cinematic experience.
Anticipation surrounds this bilingual release, with the film set to captivate audiences in both Hindi and Tamil. The production team is confident that this collaboration of stellar talent will deliver a captivating movie for audiences worldwide.
In addition to this project, Kangana is gearing up for her first solo directorial film, the period drama ‘Emergency.’ Meanwhile, R. Madhavan will share screen space with Ajay Devgn in an upcoming thriller directed by Vikas Bahl.
