After this Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Prof. Santishree D. Pandit has taken serious note of the defacement of walls and faculty rooms.
Earlier on Thursday the Vice-Chancellor, JNU, Prof. Santishree D. Pandit stated the incident of vandalism where the walls of the SIS, JNU.
Meanwhile, on the walls of the School of International Studies (SIS), JNU “anti-brahmin” slogans were written.
The notice from the Registrar JNU stated, “The administration condemns these exclusivist tendencies on campus. Such incidents will not be tolerated as JNU belongs to all.”
Moreover, at the earliest, an inquiry report has been asked from the Dean of the School of International Studies and Grievances Committee by the VC.
“JNU stands for inclusion and equality. The VC reiterates zero tolerance for any violence on campus,” Registrar notice reads.
However, further details are awaited.
