J&K: Migrant laborer shot by terrorists in Pulwama

The Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday said a migrant laborer was shot by terrorists in Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir.

The victim has been identified as Muneerul Islam who hails from West Bengal. Islam was rushed to the hospital and his condition is currently stable.

Meanwhile, for safety purposes police have cordoned off the area.

However, more details about the incident are awaited.

Earlier in August a Bihar migrant laborer was killed and two others were injured when terrorists hurled a grenade in the Gadoora village of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.

Moreover, on Wednesday night in the Sopore area of ​​Baramulla district where security forces killed two terrorists.

According to the police, the slain belonged to the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Police said that both the slain terrorists were associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. They were planning to attack civilians in Sopore.
