The Jammu and Kashmir government has seized and sealed two Madrasa (Islamic religious institutions) in the Kishtwar district of Jammu region. They have been sealed for violating the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) regulations. Consequently, notice was served to Mohd Shafi, son of Mohd Ramzan, resident of Tatani Saroor, by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar which directed him to immediately handover the possession of the building of Madrassa namely Ashraf-ul-Aloom and RPI academy to District Administration Kishtwar through Tehsildar Drabshalla, who was directed to take over the possession of the building and seize and seal it.
