Jiah Khan Death Case: Sooraj Pancholi gets relief

Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi gets relief in the Jiah Khan suicide case after he gets acquitted by the special CBI court. The actor was charged with abetment.

For those unaware, Jiah Khan, who was seen in Bollywood films like Housefull, Ghajini, and Nishabad, was found dead at her home in Mumbai on 3rd June 2013.

ANI shared the news on Twitter, “Actor Sooraj Pancholi acquitted of abetment charges in Jiah Khan suicide case.” Before the verdict was pronounced, Jiah Khan’s mother told the news portal, “Let’s see what court comes up after ten years. I want truth to be installed Jiah Khan did not take her own life We have spent 10 years exposing the truth based on factual evidence. Now it is up to the court to draw the right conclusions.”

The late actress made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Nishabad with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Jiah went on to feature in Ghajni alongside Aamir Khan and Asin. Apart from this, she was also a part of Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone’s Housefull.

Moments after a Mumbai Court announced the judgment, the actor took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “The truth always wins” along with a red heart and a folded hands emoticon. Sooraj also added the hashtag ‘God is great’.
