Jaipur: Discussion on the golden history of the Pink City, theatrical presentation by young theater artists and a stage decorated with the glitter of film stars. This scene was seen on the fourth day of Jaipur Color Mahotsav. A seven-day festival is being organized by Three M Dot Band Theater Family Society in collaboration with the Department of Art and Culture, Rajasthan and Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.

‘Love letter’ written in creative colors
In the spotlight, young artists played the play ‘Prem Patra’ under the direction of young director Chinmoy Madan. Each word of the love letter containing four love stories is written with the colors of creativity of young minds. The first love story is set in the 50s. Despite all the restrictions and lack of means of communication, the struggle of a loving couple to fulfill their love was described. The story of the street vendor depicted the sweetness of family relationships. The disappointed vendor is supported by his family, everyone together prepares his cart from which he earns his living. Family love, which is becoming secondary in the present times, was shown with great seriousness. Then the story of the little child begins. This child communicates directly with the audience and expresses regret over snatching away a person’s innocence and freedom with increasing age. The daughter who is going to be a bride expresses her feelings by writing a letter to her mother, the play ends with an emotional story. Chinmay Madan told that Prem Patra is a play based on multisensory theater form. Kathleen Crawshaw has designed it. Chinmay Madan, Sanjay Charan, Nishtha Lata, Twinkle Vijayvargiya, Mili Sharma, Yuvraj Singh Rathore, Bhupendra Parihar played the characters. The team included Chelsea Pathak, Maan Madan, Deshraj, Angela Binoy, Swapnil Dhyani, Ankita David, Ankit Rawat.

Bhanu Dada forgot years of enmity and forgave him.
In Rangayan, the play written and directed by Vinod Soni, the characters tickled the audience. The play revolves around Bhanu Dada of the royal family, whose soul had been wandering for 400 years to take revenge from his enemy dynasty. His descendant Vikram Singh, who is similar to Bhanu Dada, lives in this mansion. Singh struggles to sell the mansion to pay off the debt. To sell the mansion to Chandani Seth, he pretends to be a royal person. Chandani who wants to buy this old mansion to humiliate his business rival Holkar. Chandani, who came to the mansion with his family, returns after finalizing the deal. It’s midnight and it’s time for Bhanu Dada to arrive. Meanwhile, the Chandani family again reaches the mansion. He meets Bhanu Dada. After giving two days time, Chandani returns again. Two days later, both Holkar and Chandani enter the mansion together. It is later revealed that Holkar comes from the same clan against whom Bhanu Dada wants to take revenge. Even after coming forward, Bhanu Dada forgives Holkar and gets absorbed in Anant forever. After this the deal is made for Bhanu’s mansion of Bhangarh. Rajendra Payal, Kiran Rathod, Sandeep Lele, Vinod Soni, Vipul, Prakash Dayma, Pallavi, Saksham, Laxkar played various characters on stage.

‘Every street has its own story’
Rang Samvad started with the words ‘Dekhyo Nahi Jaipuriyo To Jag Mai Aar Ki Kario’, expressing the historical and cultural importance of Jaipur. Senior journalist Jitendra Singh Shekhawat, cultural activist Ajay Chopra and art connoisseur Vinod Soni expressed their views on the topic ‘Unheard Stories of Jaipur’. Ajay Chopra said that instead of taking care of the stem and leaves, if you take care of the foundation, the tree will automatically become green. In such a situation, such dialogues are very relevant which gives us a chance to connect with our roots. Jitendra Singh said that Jaipur has not made its mark in the world just like that, there is a story associated with every street and intersection here. He presented such untouched aspects before everyone through various incidents. He told that Sawai Jai Singh II laid the foundation of Jaipur on Gangapol on November 18, 1727. Scholars like Vidhadhar Bhattacharya were its architects. Special attention was paid to number 9 in the design of Jaipur. 9 square miles of ramparts, 9 squares, 54 yards, 36 yards, 27 yards and 18 yards, the total of which also comes to nine. Saraswati was enshrined on Choti Chaupar, hence it was the residence of scholars, Mahalakshmi is enshrined on Badi Chaupar, hence jewelers and traders were given place here, Durga/Kali was installed on Ramganj Chaupar, hence the

Jitendra Singh also threw light on the names of streets in Jaipur and the stories behind them. He told that when Sawai Jagat Singh was told about Kalsarp Yoga, he handed over the throne to Pt. Shiv Narayan Mishra for a few days and got engaged in charity, hence it was named Mishra Raja Ji’s path. Similarly, to protect the refugee poet, Zorawar Singh of Neendar fought with the army of Sawai Jai Singh and sacrificed his life, hence Dhruv Pol was named Zoraav.
