Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ Confirms Release Date, Check out here !

Anticipation is building as Dharma Productions officially announced the release date for the much-awaited sports drama ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi,’ starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. The announcement was made via Dharma Productions’ official Instagram account on Thursday.

The Instagram post, accompanied by a glimpse of the movie, stated, “Two hearts chasing one dream & it’s just pitch-er perfect! The field is set for #MrAndMrsMahi, coming to cinemas on 19th April 2024.”

 

Directed by Sharan Sharma, known for his directorial debut with ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl,’ the film marks the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao after their successful stint in ‘Roohi.’

Celebrating the completion of the film in May, Janhvi Kapoor expressed her gratitude in a heartfelt note, acknowledging the dedication of the entire team. She particularly praised Sharan Sharma for maintaining excellence amid challenges and Rajkummar Rao for adding magic to the film.

Janhvi also thanked her team for their unwavering support, including the Assistant Directors led by Deepu Sharma and Sankyluthra, cinematographer Manush Nandan, and makeup artist Priyanka Borkar, among others.

In her note, Janhvi expressed the profound impact of the film on her, describing it as a “rebirth” and acknowledging the challenges faced during its creation. She also thanked Karan Johar for his belief in the project.

As fans eagerly await the release of ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi,’ Janhvi Kapoor is simultaneously gearing up for her Pan-India film ‘Devara,’ directed by Koratala Siva, where she stars alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao, last seen in the series ‘Guns & Gulaabs’ on Netflix, continues to captivate audiences with his versatile performances. The dynamic duo’s upcoming sports drama promises to deliver a compelling narrative, blending the magic of cinema with the excitement of sports.
