Jalandhar: Multiple areas to experience power outage today due to feeder maintenance

Due to the maintenance of various feeders in the circle, electricity supply will be suspended in numerous areas on December 21. Consequently, the supply from the 11 kV Gazipur, Jalandhar Kunj feeder, originating from the 66 kV Surgical Complex of the T-4 Bastiyan Sub-Division, will be shut from 10 AM to 4 PM. This will affect areas under this feeder such as Gazipur, Feroz, Sangal Sohal, Kotli, Jalandhar Vihar, along with flats, Mand, Jalandhar Kunj, Jalandhar Prime, and surrounding areas.

Furthermore, the 11 kV Jawahar Nagar feeder of the 132 kV Children’s Park Sub-Station Civil Lines Sub-Division will remain closed from 10 AM to 2 PM. This will impact areas under this feeder including Badri Das Colony, New Jawahar Nagar, Radio Colony, Modern Colony, the area of Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Mahavir Marg, A.P.J. School-College, Guru Nanak Mission Chowk, and surrounding areas.

Additionally, the supply from the 11 kV Jandusingha feeder originating from the 66 kV Tanda Road Sub-Station will be suspended from 1 PM to 2:30 PM. As a result, areas within this feeder, such as Kanganival, Dhadda, Mubarakpur Sekhan Flyover, and adjoining industrial zones, will be affected.
