President Draupadi Murmu will visit Jaisalmer district on 23 December. Regarding this visit, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma held a meeting with senior officials of all concerned departments at the Government Secretariat on Monday. During this, the Chief Secretary said that all the departments should ensure all necessary preparations with mutual coordination.
He said that along with strict security arrangements, the protocol should be followed completely. The instructions received from Rashtrapati Bhavan will be followed 100 per cent. Keeping in view the proposed visit of the President, the Chief Secretary conducted a detailed review of the medical and security arrangements, route and all other preparations.
In the meeting, Principal Secretary of General Administration Dinesh Kumar gave information about the proposed travel program and arrangements. Director General of Police Umesh Mishra along with senior officials of departments like Home Medicine and Health, PHED, Energy, Public Works, Urban Development Housing, Information and Public Relations, Tourism, Autonomous Government Department, Motor Garage, BSNL etc. were present in the meeting. The Jaisalmer District Collector also participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
