Jaipur’s mental health advocates gather for empathy discussion

Several organisations are making serious efforts to highlight the important role of mental health. In this series, the 56th Mental Health Chaupal was organised in Earnest Cafe as part of the “Khejdi for Mental Health” program, with support from the Aatman Foundation.
A group of 20 participants, including mental health advocates, lawyers, psychologists, students, and professionals from various backgrounds, were part of this gathering.
The Mental Health Chaupal is a community awareness project initiated by the Hank Nunn Institute in Jaipur in 2018. This program was inspired by traditional chaupals and aimed to promote discussions on mental health. The central theme of this session was “Empathy on a Continuum,” depicting it as a dynamic skill that can be developed and refined over time.
