The District Collector, Prakash Rajpurohit, issued directives regarding the effective execution of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra by the central and state governments during a meeting of the District Level Review and Advisory Committee at the District Collectorate Auditorium on Friday.
Presiding over the meeting alongside Civil Lines Assembly constituency MLA Gopal Sharma, Collector Prakash Rajpurohit emphasized the need for leading banks in the district to promptly achieve their loan targets. The objective is to ensure the swift provision of relief to every individual in need.
Instructing bank officials to extend assistance to as many needy individuals as possible during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Collector also emphasized the efficient implementation of various schemes, including Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana, Kisan Credit Card Scheme, Jan-Dhan Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Security Insurance Scheme, and Atal Pension Scheme.
During the detailed discussion on the progress made by banks in the September 2023 quarter and the implementation of government schemes, MLA Gopal Sharma expressed confidence that the meticulous review of schemes by district-level officials would ensure that every eligible person benefits from the Government of India’s initiatives. Now, the focus will be on the speedy disposal of long-pending applications under PM Swanidhi and the door-to-door KCC campaign, and discussion on the progress of various government schemes.
