UT Cricket Association Chandigarh President Sanjay Tandon welcomed Board of Control for Cricket in India Secretary Jay Shah at Chandigarh Airport today. Afterward, Jay Shah, accompanied by Sanjay Tandon, visited the newly constructed cricket stadium in Mullanpur. During the visit, he inspected the cricket pitch, net practice corner, dressing room, and other stands, gathering information. Jai Shah also sought technical details about the cricket pitch from experts.
BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, along with UT Cricket Association Chandigarh President Sanjay Tandon, also inquired about the almost 90 percent completed work of Mullanpur Cricket Stadium and the timeline for the remaining construction. Following this, they proceeded to the PCA Cricket Stadium in Mohali, where Jay Shah met the players of the Indian team and extended his best wishes for success in the first International T-20 cricket match against Afghanistan. Subsequently, Jay Shah headed to his preferred section of the PCA Stadium, enjoying the India-Afghanistan cricket match among the large crowd of cricket enthusiasts at the stadium.
It is noteworthy that this is the last international T-20 cricket match played at Mohali PCA Cricket Stadium. That’s why BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, accompanied by UT Cricket Association Chandigarh President Sanjay Tandon, arrived earlier today to assess the newly constructed Mullanpur cricket stadium for the upcoming international cricket matches.
