In Solan, a significant gathering of BJP supporters assembled at the Mall Road to extend a warm welcome to J P Nadda, the party’s national president, during his inaugural visit to the Shimla Parliamentary constituency after the triumph in the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh Assembly polls. Despite the harsh cold, with temperatures dipping to 1.0 degree Celsius, party members enthusiastically greeted Nadda, showering him with flowers during his roadshow. Amidst chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, BJP supporters presented Nadda with a trident as a symbol, concluding the roadshow at the old bus stand. State BJP chief Rajiv Bindal and Opposition Leader Jai Ram Thakur joined in welcoming Nadda upon his arrival in Solan earlier in the day.
