J-K: Army, police resume operations against terrorists in Anantnag

In the Kokernag forest area of the Anantnag district, where security forces and terrorists engaged in combat on September 13, a search operation is currently under way. On the sixth day in a row, operations against terrorists “holed up” in the forest area of the Gadole in the Kokernag area of the Anantnag district were resumed by the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Security forces killed a terrorist earlier on Saturday (September 16) in an encounter in the Uri town of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, according to police.

In a post on the social media handle X, Kashmir Zone Police said, “One terrorist killed. Search going on. Further details shall follow.”
