Indian Air Force fighters are dispatched as a passenger plane carrying Iranians issues a bomb threat over Indian territory and is headed for China.
The plane was routed to China, and when it reached Indian airspace, Indian officials were alerted, according to a report. The Sukhoi-30MKI fighter planes from the airfields in Jodhpur and Punjab were pressed by the IAF. Uncertainty persists as to the threat’s nature within the aeroplane.
The aircraft was permitted to continue heading toward China after receiving clearance, though. However, the Indian authorities are closely observing the flight’s movements.
