JAIPUR: An IP Club event was organised by the Rajasthan School of Law for Women, focusing on the significance of trademark protection and the challenges it poses. Dr. Meenakshi Poonia, Assistant Professor at Sardar Patel University of Police, was the main speaker at the event. The lecture began with a welcome from Principal Dr. Vartika Aroda. During this event, Poonia clarified the position of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in India with an emphasis on consumer awareness about brands. She also provided information about the civil and criminal remedies available in IPR for consumers. Poonia gave insights into employment opportunities in the field of IPR. The program was conducted by Purnima Gautam and student Dikshita Agrawal in the sixth semester. At the end of the program, Assistant Professor Khajan Sharma thanked everyone.
