The newly constructed bridge, near Loharan and costing over 2.5 crores, was inaugurated by Vidhayak Singh and Vidhayak Sangovaal, promising employment opportunities for over 1500 individuals.
The Punjab government, through Invest Punjab, is actively collaborating with various companies to encourage investments in the state. As part of this effort, a project with an estimated cost of 66 crores is being executed near Ludhiana. The inauguration of the bridge, officiated by Vidhayak Kulwant Singh and Vidhayak Jeevan Singh Sangovaal, marks the beginning of this significant project, with a total cost of 2.5 crores. The event was attended by notable personalities from the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Vidhayak Jeevan Singh Sangovaal mentioned that this project is the first of its kind under the Invest Punjab initiative. He highlighted that the new bridge near Loharan, with a cost of 2.5 crores, will not only benefit the residents but also boost employment opportunities for over 1500 people. He further stated that within 45 days, the bridge will be completed and open to the public, providing significant convenience to the locals.
Gurbeer Singh Kahlon, the project manager, expressed his enthusiasm about the initiative. He stated that the project is expected to create numerous job opportunities and improve the economic landscape in Ludhiana. Additionally, he emphasized that this commercial project, in collaboration with several major companies in Punjab, aims to complete the bridge within 45 days, with the inauguration scheduled for December 20. The bridge is designed to be 40 feet wide, providing substantial convenience to the people.
This venture represents a significant step towards economic development and job creation in Ludhiana, aligning with the broader goals of the Invest Punjab initiative.
