Indian Unity Forum demands action on rising crimes

The incidents of theft and snatching in Tri-City have increased concerns. The Indian Unity Forum organized a meeting to discuss various issues at Hotel Eminence in Sector 56, Mohali. The meeting, chaired by Chairman Subhash Gupta, addressed several issues raised by the members of the Indian Unity Forum. The primary focus was on the incidents of theft and snatching in Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula. The forum demanded increased patrolling by the police and administration to enhance people’s security.
Furthermore, the deteriorating condition of roads in Khadad Studio, Mohali, was also discussed. The forum urged the Khadad administration to quickly repair the damaged roads to alleviate the inconvenience faced by the public. Similarly, the issue of traffic problems at Dara Studio in Mohali was raised, requesting the installation of traffic lights at Dara Studio junction to alleviate traffic issues and prevent daily accidents.
The meeting also emphasized the need to address the parking issues of two-wheelers in Chandigarh by making parking spaces free of charge to provide economic relief to the people. A unanimous decision was taken during the meeting to submit a memorandum to the administration regarding all these issues. Present at the occasion were Narendra Jaitak, the President, Convener Puneet Mahajan, General Secretary Subhash Gupta, Chairperson Mamta Bansal, Secretary Sunita Thakur, Vice President Neeru, and others.
