Indian Army soldier was assaulted in Anakapalli by Andhra police

During a dispute over the installation of the Disha app, Andhra police are accused of assaulting an Indian Army soldier. The incident happened on Tuesday in the Anakapalli district’s Paravada Mandal, at Santabayalu. Aleemullah, the victim, is a soldier assigned to the 52 Rashtriya Rifles Camp in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. He lives in Regupaleni. On the second of this month, Aleemullah returned home while on leave. At Paravada Santabayalu, a constable asked the people gathered at the bus stop to download the Disha app while he was waiting for a bus. Women can report incidents of harassment and other abuse using the Disha app, which was developed by the State government as part of its efforts to protect women.
