In an improvised explosive device (IED) blast, an assistant sub-inspector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 153 Battalion, Muhd Aslam was injured on Sunday.
Meanwhile, at the Pegdapalli-Sunil post, Naxals planted the IED. At 8:45 am on Saturday, the incident occurred near Pegdapalli village under the Tarrem police station. The incident occurred when CRPF’s 153rd battalion was out on patrol.
Moreover, at a field hospital in Basaguda, the ASI was immediately rushed for treatment and his condition is stable now.
However, to lift the injured ASI all the arrangements have been made for a helicopter to a higher center referral for better treatment.
