Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine in “Deadpool 3” will not affect the previous “X-Men” timeline, according to the film’s makers.
While details about the movie remain under wraps, actor Ryan Reynolds has hinted that Jackman’s Wolverine character arc from the first “X-Men” film to “Logan” will not be connected to his “Deadpool 3” character. Reynolds said the new movie diverges greatly from Jackson’s previous Wolverine and gives him something completely new to play.
The makers have promised that the timeline of “Logan” will not be touched. “Deadpool 3” is set to begin production in May 2023 and will be released in cinemas on 8 November 2024 by Disney.
