To address the shortage of blood in hospitals, an internal blood donation drive was conducted by HSIIDC Sector 6 Panchkula, inspired by Yash Garg, MD HSIIDC. The event, held in collaboration with Vishvas Foundation Panchkula and Civil Hospital Sector 6 Panchkula, received significant support from the Indian Red Cross Society District Branch Panchkula.
Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President of Vishvas Foundation, acknowledged the crucial contributions of Divya Kamal HOD P&A, Vishal Maggo DGM, Sanjay Kumar Mittal AGM P&A, Ritu Nain Manager P&A, Urmil Devi, and other HSIIDC staff in the successful organization of the camp. Of the 56 people who registered to donate blood, 10 were deemed ineligible by experts due to health concerns. Nonetheless, 46 donors generously contributed under the supervision of blood bank in-charge Dr. Amit Sammi.
Dr. Amit Sammi explained that in emergency situations, when the blood levels in patients are critically low, external blood donations become crucial. He urged people to come forward and donate blood to assist those in need.
All the blood donors received appreciation letters and gifts as a token of encouragement. Dignitaries from Vishvas Foundation, including Rishi Saral Vishvas, Mulkharaj Manocha, Randhir Singh, Satya Bhushan Khurana, Sham Sundar Sahni, Savita Sahni, and others, graced the occasion with their presence.
