A native of Shibpur in the Howrah district has earned the moniker “Robot Man” for his tireless efforts in making robots for a good cause.

“Bravo,” Atanu Ghosh’s latest creation, is more than simply a robot; it plays an important role in supporting autistic youngsters with their learning, as well as in awareness programs and as a server in restaurants.

His reason for his extraordinary labor is straightforward: he wishes to assist society. His career towards robotics began when he was 18 years old and created his first remote-controlled robot. His father, who worked as a research equipment designer in Calcutta University’s Department of Physiology, was his inspiration.
