As part of Great.com’s initiative “iGaming for Future”, we are uniting the gambling industry to benefit society. Our partnership with them aims to prevent the spread of malaria, which kills over 625,000 people every year, 70% of whom are children under five.
We have raised and donated enough money to purchase and distribute 389 mosquito nets in Kampemda ZdS, Haut Katanga Province in Congo, as a result of this collaboration. This will protect 701 people from deadly mosquitoes. These nets protect people while they sleep, and mosquitoes are more dangerous at night when we are most vulnerable.
The nets donated are part of these 432 250 nets being distributed in Congo. On the left is where Congo is, and on the right is where the different deliveries take place.
