Hindu Sankalp March taken out in Delhi against attacks on Hindus

Various Hindu outfits in Delhi took out a ‘Sankalp March’ on Saturday to protest against the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur. Hundreds of people waving the tricolour and chanting Jai Shri Ram took part in the Sankalp march against the attacks on the community.

BJP leaders Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga and Kapil Mishra were also present in the Sankalp March. The march was led by the central working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s (VHP) Alok Kumar, and ended at Jantar Mantar via Mandir House.

Due to the Sankalp March, many roads were temporarily closed and taking to Twitter, Delhi Traffic police informed, “Traffic Alert; Due to special traffic arrangements, kindly avoid the following roads between 8:30 AM to 2 PM: Sikandara Road, Barakhamba Road, Copernicus Marg, Firoz Shah Road, Bhagwan Das Road, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Tolstoy Marg, Sansad Marg from Outer Circle Connaught Place to Patel Chowk and Janpath from Outer Circle Connaught Place to R/A Windsor Place.”

Meanwhile, former North Delhi Mayor Avtar Singh said that many Hindu organisations are on the streets today for this Sankalp March to raise our voices against the attacks on Hindus. “They cannot be targeted or attacked in that manner. We won’t spare those who target us,” Singh said.

However, talking about the Sankalp march, BJP leader Kapil Mishra has said there is no place for those people who plays with the country’s law. Our Hindu society has come out on the road today for the protection of the law.
