Health center conducts training on TB Win mobile app and BCG vaccination campaign

In a recent development at the Primary Health Center in Old Panchkula, a comprehensive training session was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr. Monica Kaura. The focus of the training was to equip the healthcare staff with detailed information about the TB Win mobile app and the upcoming BCG vaccination campaign.

During the session, Dr. Monica Kaura informed the staff about the proactive approach planned for Panchkula district. Asha workers are set to embark on a door-to-door survey, targeting individuals aged between 18 to 60 years. The survey aims to identify potential beneficiaries for the BCG vaccine. Subsequently, the collected data on individuals who have received the BCG vaccine will be compiled into a report and sent to the district headquarters.

Once the data analysis is complete, the schedule for the BCG vaccination campaign in Panchkula district will be finalized, taking into account the number of identified beneficiaries. Dr. Monica Kaura emphasized the significance of this systematic approach to ensure a well-organized and efficient vaccination drive.

Present at the training session were key healthcare personnel including Dr. Lakshmi, Dr. Parvesh Kadyan, Lalita DPC, Jasbir DPS, among others. Their presence underscores the collaborative effort and commitment to successfully implement the BCG vaccination campaign in Panchkula district.

The upcoming door-to-door survey and subsequent vaccination campaign are part of a strategic initiative to enhance healthcare services and combat preventable diseases in the region. The healthcare team is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the community through proactive measures and community engagement.
