Under the “Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat” campaign, the Fit India Freedom Run 4.0 was organized by the N.S.S. Unit of Government College Dera Bassi under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sujata Kaushal, with the guidance of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Department of Sports. On this occasion, Dr. Sujata Kaushal, the principal, encouraged students to incorporate regular running, exercise, and morning walks into their daily lives to promote awareness about health.
She also advised students to maintain good eating habits and stay away from bad habits. As part of this event, a run was organized by the N.S.S. volunteers, and it was attended by Deputy Principal Prof. Ami Bhalla, N.S.S. Coordinator Dr Amarjit Kaur, Prof. Ravinder Singh, Prof. Bomindeer Kaur, and 30 N.S.S. volunteers.
