Former Finance Secretary Hasmukh Adhia has been appointed as chief advisor on Tuesday to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Meanwhile, SS Rathore has been appointed as the advisor to the chief minister. SS Rathore was the former secretary of the roads and buildings department of the state. However, Adhia is a Gujarat cadre IAS officer and in November 2014, he moved to Delhi after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister and took charge as a secretary in the department of financial services.
