Haryana’s Youth Red Cross training camp for girls ends on a positive note

The state-level Youth Red Cross training camp for girls, organized by the Indian Red Cross Committee Haryana State Branch, Chandigarh, concluded successfully at the sacred grounds of Shri Nangli Bela Ashram on Bhupatwala Trishikesh Road in Haridwar.
Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal, General Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch, Chandigarh, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal emphasized the global significance of the Red Cross as the largest service-oriented organization worldwide. He highlighted the inherent culture of service in daughters and stressed the need to fortify this value for the betterment of the world.

Recognizing Haridwar as the cultural capital of the country, he pointed out the numerous cultural sources that inspire individuals to serve humanity. Dr. Aggarwal urged the daughters to become lifelong members of the Red Cross Society and actively contribute to spreading its principles and values among the people. He emphasized the importance of children connecting with their roots for India to secure a prominent position in the global arena.

Additionally, resource persons such as Surendra Sheoran, Anju Sharma, Kapil Ji, and others were recognized with mementos and appreciation letters. Joint Secretary of Uttarakhand Red Cross, Harish Ji, expressed appreciation for the commendable activities conducted by Haryana Red Cross.

State Training Supervisor Ramesh Chaudhary conveyed gratitude to Chief Guest Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal, acknowledging his presence. Chaudhary extended thanks to all participants, the Chandigarh office team, Nangli Bela Ashram, Purwal Catering participants, and the entire team of Haryana Red Cross for their outstanding coordination and service to the participants.

The chief guest honored winners of the competitions held during the camp, awarding Sonipat’s G.V.M. Kanya College for the best team and Dr. Rajat Singla from S.A. Jain College, Ambala, as the best counsellor.

In attendance were Sarbjit Singh, Joint Camp Director, and other dignitaries including Resource Persons Surendra Sheoran, Anju Sharma, Jaswinder Pal, Vijay Kumar, Sandeep, Rajesh Kapoor.
