A handball competition was organized in Dighal village of Jhajjar in which Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala and MP Kartikeya Sharma participated as chief guests. More than 70 players of Dighal are bringing good names in the field of handball.
Addressing the meet, MP Kartikeya Sharma thanked Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala and the organizers for the competition. He said that he had not come here as an MP, but to encourage the players. The MP said, “Digvijay Chautala, who was like his younger brother, invited him for this competition. His attachment towards sports is from the beginning.” “I have had the opportunity to work for wrestling, boxing and other sports through leagues. I know the importance of sports and the fact that this competition is being organized today is commendable. He congratulated the State and National Association for successfully organizing the event.”
Talking about Digvijay Chautala, he said that he is doing a good work. He is actively engaged in nurturing a non-cricketing sport.
MP Kartikeya Sharma also expressed his gratitude to the Federation. Speaking further, he said that when a player or team performs, the hard work of many people is behind it. Haryana is famous for two things – farmer and sports, he added.

In which a wrestler from Georgia told that when he came after winning the silver medal for his country, he got only 100 dollars. Speaking about the sports policy of Haryana, he said that the sports policy of Haryana is famous all over the world.
“To provide better facilities to the players, the government is formulating new policies every day. For which CM Manohar Lal and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala deserve congratulations. Along with this, MP Kartikeya Sharma announced an amount of Rs 10 lakh from his personal fund to the Haryana State Association.
