Haryana’s Family Identity Card Scheme to grace Republic Day Parade in New Delhi

This Republic Day on January 26, a glimpse of the family identity card scheme will be showcased at the national level event in New Delhi. The Family Identity Card (FIC) has been a dream project of Chief Minister Manohar Lal. However, the opposition has consistently targeted the Haryana government over this plan. There have been considerable difficulties in implementing this scheme, and people have also opposed it. Nevertheless, the state government has enforced this plan with full force.
With the assistance of PPP, Haryana’s data is readily available to the government with just a click through the FIC. This provides the government with reliable data for initiating new schemes for any section of the state. This document has proved crucial in identifying irregularities and discrepancies in pensions and other schemes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also praised this initiative.
Apart from this, six states including some other countries have shown interest in implementing this scheme. Through the FIC, the benefits received by services and people will be showcased in the display. The central government had given states two theme options for the parade: ‘Developed India’ and ‘Mother of Democracy.’ States were required to choose one theme. Haryana opted for the ‘Developed India’ theme. In the January 26 parade, Haryana will exhibit both Developed Haryana and Developed India themes. Officials from Haryana have been actively engaged in creating and preparing the tableau. The state government aims to present a unique tableau for the state this time around.
