Under the joint aegis of Primary Training Center Bhanu Panchkula and Haryana Yoga Commission, a state-level program was organised on Wednesday at the parade ground of BTC ITBP Panchkula under the ‘Har Ghar Parivar Surya Namaskar’ campaign. Haryana Yoga Commission Chairman Dr. Jaideep Arya participated as the chief guest in the program.
Apart from gyms, villages, wards, schools, colleges, universities, ITBP, CRPF, and Army personnel are also being included in this campaign. Inspector General of Primary Training Center A.P.S. Nimbadia said that it is a matter of pride for us that yoga-related programs are taking place in our courtyard. We will organise similar joint programs in the future also. He said that yoga is extremely beneficial in maintaining the efficiency of soldiers in snowy hilly areas where there is a shortage of oxygen. This has also been proved by research, and the soldiers of BTC, ITBP who were given yoga training by Haryana Yoga Commission have also experienced this.
Inspector General said that we want to sign an MoU between Haryana Yoga Commission and BTC, ITBP Panchkula so that yoga can be done every day at PT time in the centre.
The Home Minister also praised the presentation of Yogasana team of BTC, ITBP prepared by Haryana Yoga Commission in Ladakh recently. Yogasan players are also getting trained in ITBP.
Dr. Jaideep Arya said that the Har Ghar Parivar Surya Namaskar campaign was started through AYUSH Yoga assistants in 1000 gyms of the state. This campaign is being extended to every person in 6500 villages. About 14000 schools, colleges, and universities of the state are associated with this campaign.
He said that yoga has now become a prime sport. In this regard, a demand was made to the Union Home Minister to give promotion to the medal winners of Yogasan game. Just like the state police gets promotion. Similarly, you can get it in the paramilitary force also. On the call of the Prime Minister, Yoga has been included in the army, paramilitary, and police. Yogasana game is now included in Police Games, and recently Police Games are going to be held in Nagpur from 26th February to 2nd March. In the last two years, 5 world records including Guinness Book of World Records have been established by Haryana Yoga Commission. Last year, two 200-hour yoga training sessions were organized by Haryana Yoga Commission in BTC, ITBP, and certificates were also given to the soldiers. Registrar of Haryana Yoga Commission, Dr. Rajkumar, while informing everyone about the Har Ghar Parivar Surya Namaskar campaign, said that according to today’s figures, about 11,34,951 participants from the entire state have participated in this campaign by registering through the Suryanamaskarharyana.com website.
