Haryana Yoga Commission launches Surya namaskar campaign in Panchkula

The state-level orientation program for the “Har Ghar Parivar – Surya Namaskar” campaign was organised by the Haryana Yoga Commission in collaboration with the Sports Department in Panchkula at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector-3. It is noteworthy that the Haryana Yoga Commission, in collaboration with the AYUSH Department, Education Department, Sports Department, Police Department, and other institutions, will organize the “Har Ghar Parivar – Suryanamaskar” campaign across the state from February 1 to February 20. This orientation program aimed to prepare the overall outline of the program and plan its implementation.
The program, organized under the chairmanship of Dr. Jaideep Arya, Chairman of the Haryana Yoga Commission, had Colonel Rajpal Singh, Secretary of the Haryana Olympic Association, as the chief guest. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp, after which Dr. Jaideep Arya, the Registrar of the Haryana Yoga Commission, greeted everyone and provided information about the program.

Colonel Rajpal Singh, the chief guest, appreciated the program and highlighted that the Haryana Yoga Commission has initiated a health campaign in every household through the “Har Ghar Parivar – Suryanamaskar” slogan. Its benefits extend not only to individuals but to the entire society, reaching every corner of the state of Haryana. Dr. Jaideep Arya mentioned that other states have recommended programs organized by Haryana in previous years, showcasing the pride in their initiatives. The campaign’s aim is to reach every home and village without restricting it to a specific goal. The Haryana Yoga Commission is actively working on this, and all departments and institutions will play a crucial role in its success. The theme song for the Suryanamaskar campaign is Hanuman Chalisa. The campaign, organized up to the village level, has been divided into three parts for competition: 108 Suryanamaskar based on rhythm and accuracy, 13 Suryanamaskar for families, and 13 Suryanamaskar for individuals. The most effective presentation with mantra or music will be selected and honored for the state-level competition. District Yoga Coordinators, District Yoga Experts, Ayush Yoga Assistants, and representatives of institutions from all districts across the state participated in the program.

They provided suggestions for successfully implementing the program on the ground. A call was made for everyone to register on the suryanamaskarharyana.in website, perform Suryanamaskar, and become part of the campaign by obtaining the certificate.
