Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta on Thursday formally inaugurated the work of re-carpeting and laying paver blocks of 1.09 km long road from village Bhareli to Bhagwanpur by breaking a coconut. This work will be completed in about four months at a cost of Rs 20 lakh.

The work of recarpeting and installing paver blocks of this road will be done by the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. With the construction of this road, traffic between Bhareli and Bhagwanpur will become easier. Also, farmers will get special facility in taking their crops to Barwala Mandi.

Gupta said that his endeavor is to provide all the basic facilities to the people living in villages on the lines of cities. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, the road infrastructure in the cities as well as villages in the state has been strengthened, due to which the movement of people has become easier.
