In view of the increasing air pollution in Haryana, the government has implemented Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) in 14 districts in the first phase. Diesel powered generator sets will not be able to run in these districts. However, the government has given relaxation to some emergency services till December 31, just a day before the implementation of lockdown. Air Quality Management Commission (ACQM) has clarified the position regarding ban on generators. The officials have refused to accept the final draft. Earlier a draft was prepared to extend its time by 3 months. ACQM has given permission to install dual kit in generators up to 25 KVA.
