In recent days, a Sikh couple was tragically shot in Canada. The Haryana Gurudwara Management Committee has taken note of this brutal incident. Kavlejit Singh Azrana, the spokesperson for the Haryana Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, addressed a press conference at Kurukshetra Gurdwara Chhati Patshahi, expressing concern. He appealed to the Indian government to swiftly bring the culprits to justice and support the victimized Sikh family.
Kamaljeet Singh Rana stated that if such an incident had occurred to a tourist on a tourist visa in another country, that government would provide significant assistance. However, in the case of the Sikh couple’s murder in Canada, the Canadian police are not taking any concrete action. Therefore, on behalf of the Haryana Sikh GurdwaraManagement Committee, an appeal is made to the Indian government to assist the affected family and exert pressure on the Canadian government to ensure justice for the accused in the murder of the Sikh couple.
Kavlejit Singh Azrana mentioned that people who hastily registered for votes in the election commission have no connection with Sikh families. He alleged that the votes of those who filled out forms to register have been falsely attributed to other individuals. He has filed a written complaint about this. He accused the Election Commission chairman of working hastily in these matters.”
