In a significant development, Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has pledged to prioritize employment opportunities for the state’s youth at the Maruti plant in the IMT Kharkhoda. This announcement came during the ongoing “Vikasit Bharat Jan Samvad Sankalp Yatra,” reflecting the government’s commitment to engaging with citizens and addressing their concerns directly.
During a public meeting in the village of Khodama in the Narnaul district on Friday, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Om Prakash Yadav made history by facilitating pension applications through the service department’s mobile app. This initiative received an enthusiastic response from the rural population, who expressed their joy with resounding applause.
Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, addressing the public in Kakroi village and subsequently in Jharonth, emphasized that the ongoing yatra is not just a routine event but a guarantee to deliver the benefits of government schemes to eligible individuals.
The visit to the villages of Khodama, Tajipur, Unhani, Chelavas, Khatoth, and Khatothda witnessed a warm reception from the locals. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Om Prakash Yadav served as the chief guest during the events in Khodama and Tajipur villages.
Addressing the gathered villagers, Minister Yadav stated that this yatra is not ordinary; instead, it serves as a commitment to ensure that eligible individuals benefit from various government schemes. He stressed that the state government, under Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal’s leadership, is actively working to extend the reach of central and state government schemes to those in need.
Furthermore, Deputy Chief Minister Chautala shared insights into the reservation laws applicable to Haryana’s youth in private industrial units and companies. He clarified that these laws, currently under Supreme Court consideration, do not apply to the Maruti plant in Kharkhoda.
Highlighting Maruti’s expansion plans, Chautala mentioned that Maruti has requested an additional 500 acres of land to facilitate the production of electric vehicles at the Kharkhoda plant. He also assured that Maruti would fulfill the demand for ITI seats in Kharkhoda through corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The Vikasit Bharat Jan Samvad Sankalp Yatra aims to connect millions of citizens with government schemes. Through this yatra, the Haryana government, led by Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal, is ensuring that the benefits of various schemes reach the doorsteps of eligible citizens.
In addition to the developments in Kharkhoda, the yatra extended to the villages of Unhani and Chelavas, where MLA Shri Seetaram Yadav served as the chief guest. MLA Seetaram Yadav commended the collaborative efforts of Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, describing their governments as a “double-engine” working tirelessly to implement welfare policies down to the last person.
