On the day of the consecration of Shri Ram Lala in Ayodhya, Haryana will observe a dry day, with Chief Minister Manohar Lal announcing the closure of liquor vends across the state. Additionally, during the Pran Pratistha ceremony, a live telecast of the program will be aired for two hours in schools.

Home Minister Anil Vij, on Monday, undertook the cleaning of the Shiva temple in Ambala. Following the temple’s cleanup in Shastri Colony, he urged the public to participate in the cleanliness of temples while emphasizing abstinence from meat and liquor.

In a Sunday evening bhajan event at CM Manohar Lal’s residence in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister, along with Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit, participated in the devotional singing. CM Manohar Lal led the rendition of the hymn ‘Chandan is the soil of this country, Tapobhoomi is every village.’

After the temple cleaning initiative, Home Minister Anil Vij urged the public to maintain the cleanliness of temples, Shivalayas, and Gurudwaras in their respective areas twice a day until the consecration of the idol of Shri Ram ji in the Ram temple on January 22. He advised against the consumption of meat and liquor, promoting the intake of satvik food for a pure and positive environment. Vij called upon Ram devotees to refrain from touching meat or liquor until January 22, emphasizing the significance of sacrifices made for the liberation of Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

Expressing the collective anticipation for January 22, Vij acknowledged the sacrifices made by numerous individuals in the quest for the Ram Janmabhoomi’s liberation. Chief Minister Manohar Lal, alongside leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, has made the decision to take around 2 thousand devotees from the state to Ayodhya for the darshan of Lord Shri Ram. The pilgrimage to Ayodhya for the people of the state is scheduled for February 9th and 10th.
