Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has said that apart from reiterating the state government’s commitment to uplift the poorest of the poor while keeping the spirit of Antyodaya, “we must make people believe that before anyone, needy people have the first right on their government.”
While swiftly moving in this direction, a first-of-its-kind ambitious Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme has been implemented in the state, “which aims to provide benefits of all government schemes and services to the last person standing in the queue”, said the CM.
He said that from April 1, 2021, a unique scheme will be formulated under which selection of as many as one lakh poor families who are living in Haryana and are having lowest family income would be done through the Parivar Pehchan Patra portal. “Every possible effort will be made to increase the family income of such families. For this, the state government will emphasize on the skill development of members of such families, providing employment opportunities to the unemployed members and also providing financial assistance. Besides this, employment avenues will also be explored to generate employment,” the CM added.
