GUJARAT CM’S VISIT TO DUBAI CONCLUDES, 19 MOUS SIGNED IN HIS PRESENCE

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was on a two-day visit to Dubai with the Gujarat delegation for the road-show and one-to-one meeting of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2022. The visit of the Chief Minister became an important event for the business investors of Dubai to invest in various sectors in Gujarat. The road show on the first day of Bhupendra Patel’s visit to Dubai on Wednesday and the one-on-one meeting with leading business leaders of Dubai during the day were also very fruitful.

As many as 19 business investors from Dubai signed MOUs with Gujarat in various sectors including project investments in Gift City in the presence of the Chief Minister during the road show for setting up their businesses and industries in Gujarat. He had signed the MoU with the Gujarat government for setting up a logistics park in Gujarat. In addition, MoU was signed by Alfnar Group’s Netra Wind Pvt Ltd to invest in 300 MW wind power projects, smart grid projects and transmission projects.

Other projects in Gujarat in which Dubai-based investors-industry managers have shown interest for investments include Integrated Steel Plant, Green Cement Production in Hazira, Valuation Services and Stock Broking Services in Gift City, Bhavnagar Port Infrastructure and Investments in Dholera SIR, Precious Metals Refining and Trading, Consultancy Services and Shopping Mall-Hyper Market, Corporate House for Capital Market Activities, etc.

The MoUs with Gujarat mainly include various investors including reputed industry and trade leaders like Sharaf Group, Alfnar Group, Lulu Group, Transworld, Conares Group, and Narola Group International.

Minister of State for Industry Jagdish Vishwakarma, Indian Ambassador to the UAE Sanjay Sudhir, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary K. Kailasanathan Industry Department Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta and senior secretaries of the Gujarat delegation, leading industry and trade managers were present.
