The upcoming event, scheduled on the auspicious day of Shukla Dwadashi Vikram Samvat 2080 (Monday, January 22, 2024), will witness the consecration of the child form of Lord Shri Ram in the new temple on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.
As part of the local program, communities will gather in temples across sectors, localities, villages, and colonies between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on January 22. Bhajans and kirtans will be sung, and the consecration ceremony from Ayodhya will be broadcasted on screens. Conch sounds, bell ringing, and Aarti Prasad distribution will add to the festive atmosphere. The program’s format will be temple-centric, featuring collective chanting, Hanuman Chalisa recitation, and live telecast of the consecration ceremony on Doordarshan and multiple channels.
