On Sunday, Union Minister for Commerce and Textiles, Piyush Goyal, said that Kota holds immense significance in the progress of the nation, and under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the city is advancing. He was in Kota for a business and industry development dialogue at the invitation of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Addressing the dialogue program, he referred to Birla as a role model for representatives.
Highlighting the eradication of the long-standing corruption within the country, Goyal stated that the business community suffers the most when the fruits of their hard work are stolen by corrupt individuals and middlemen. He said, “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the nation has become corruption-free. The business and industry sectors have benefited the most from this. As a result, the country is advancing to new heights.”
Goyal praised Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s contribution to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Criticizing Rajasthan’s government, Goyal expressed disappointment that the Rajasthan government has not shown interest in the PM Friend Park plan. He accused the Rajasthan government of affecting several railway projects by refusing to invest in them and ignoring the welfare work for tribal communities.
Making a big announcement about the construction of Kota Airport, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said, “No matter how much you try to stop it, the airport will be built. It will be constructed sooner or later. The Hadoti region, including Kota, is a leader in the industrial and business sectors. Whatever problems entrepreneurs and businessmen have, they will be resolved.”
