“Goodbye Chandler: Friends Stars Unite to Pay Respect at Matthew Perry’s Funeral”

The co-stars of actor Matthew Perry from “Friends,” including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, gathered to attend his funeral on a gloomy Friday. The service took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, situated near the iconic Warner Bros. Studios, according to a source cited by People, a prominent US-based media outlet.

The funeral, which began at 3 p.m. PST and ended at 5 p.m. PST, was a heartbreaking gathering to say goodbye to the beloved actor.

Matthew Perry, best known for his role as the droll and charismatic Chandler Bing on the hit TV show ‘Friends,’ entertained audiences for a decade with his pitch-perfect comedic performance, earning an Emmy nomination in 2002.

Sadly, Perry’s “Friends” co-stars released a statement together two days following his tragic passing, as People reported: “We are all completely crushed by Matthew’s death. We were more than simply coworkers. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time, we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.” The heartfelt message was signed by Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, and Schwimmer.

Matthew Perry, aged 54, tragically passed away on October 28 at his residence in the Los Angeles area. Law enforcement sources informed TMZ that no drugs were discovered at the scene and there was no evidence of foul play.

On the following Saturday, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed responding to a report at Perry’s residence regarding the death of a male in his 50s but did not officially confirm the identity of the deceased.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office completed the autopsy, with results pending toxicological testing. An online record notes the actor’s cause of death as “deferred” since it awaits “additional investigation.”
