Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched a Covid-19 kit for those observing home quarantine. Health minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday said that asymptomatic patients under home quarantine will be given these kits for free. This kit will be given out free of all charges and consists of “hydroxychloroquine, oximeter, thermometer, N95 masks, three triple layered masks, gloves, sanitisers etc.” During the launch of this scheme in Panjim, Goa CM Sawant made it known that this was the first of its kind initiative taken by any state in India. Currently the state witnesses around 600 patients are in Covid-19 centres and around 3,416 under home isolation.
