Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot revealed that despite claims of collaboration with his predecessor, Vasundhara Raje, her government had terminated several projects initiated by him. Speaking on the matter, Gehlot highlighted the closure of universities and refineries by the previous administration.
Gehlot mentioned that he had established several universities during his tenure, but the previous government had shut them down. Despite this, people often suggest that he and Vasundhara Raje are working together. He pointed out that Vasundhara Raje’s government had shut down Haridev Joshi University and Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, but his government had revised the acts and reopened these universities. Currently, both universities are constructing impressive buildings.
The Chief Minister stated that his government has a positive outlook, while the previous administration had a negative one. Gehlot welcomed criticism if it is based on facts, and he also noted that it is the opposition’s duty to criticize.
