The third entry in the comedy series Fukrey is now available. On September 28, Mrigdeep Singh Lamba’s Fukrey 3 appeared in theaters alongside Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War. The movie, which also starred Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, and Varun Sharma, got off to a respectable start, earning Rs 8.82 crores on the first day.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh claims that Fukrey 3 earned Rs 7.81 crore on Friday and Rs 11.67 crore on Saturday, which represents a significant increase. The movie has now earned a total of Rs 28.30 crore. According to market watcher Sacnilk, Fukrey 3’s Hindi occupancy on Saturday was 28.33% overall.
The Vaccine War, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, struggled at the box office, opening to just Rs 85 lakh. The Nana Patekar-starring movie gained a little momentum on Saturday, earning Rs 1.50 crore. The movie has now earned a total of Rs 3.25 crores.
Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production company, Excel Entertainment, is financing the film Fukrey 3. The previous installment’s star Ali Fazal makes a cameo appearance in the comedy adventure. Fukrey, the first movie in the series, was released in 2013, and Fukrey Returns followed in 2017. The central character of Fukrey 3 is the neighborhood goon Bholi Punjaban, who decides to run for office in an effort to seize control of the city. Hunny, Choocha, Lali, and Guru Ji devise a scheme to make Choocha her opponent in the election in an effort to stop her.
