Newly-elected members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will be treated to a lavish dinner hosted by BJP chief JP Nadda following the swearing-in of the union council of ministers on Sunday. The dinner menu boasts an array of dishes perfect for beating the summer heat, including refreshing juices and shakes, stuffed litchi, matka kulfi, mango cream, and raita.
The menu also features jodhpuri sabzi, dal, dum biryani, and five types of bread, with a dedicated Punjabi food counter. For those who enjoy millets, there will be bajra khichdi, along with five types of juices and shakes and three varieties of raita.
Sweet enthusiasts will find plenty to indulge in, with eight types of desserts, white rasmalai, and four varieties of ghewar. Tea and coffee will also be available.
The oath-taking ceremony for Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi and the union council of ministers will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening. Earlier in the day, MPs expected to be part of the new Council of Ministers attended a high tea at the Prime Minister’s residence and held a meeting with him.
